Here's What I'm Looking For and Not...
You must be a very organized and detailed professional. You’ll have various tasks assigned to you, and you must have the ability to learn fast, get everything completed, and prioritize.
The right person will make sure that things don’t fall through the ‘cracks.’
Personally I work long hours, and I need someone who can help me implement my ideas, manage projects and communicate with clients.
Speed is very important to me. If you’re a slow worker or a slow implementer or a slow learner – we simply won’t be a good fit.
You’ll have various tasks. I expect you to have a can do attitude. I can’t stand complainers or those that talk a good game but nothing ever gets done. What I really want is someone who lets their work do the talking for them.
Some typical tasks you might do in a day (note: you don’t need to know how to do all of these just yet, but must be willing to learn)...
...What You'll Be Doing:
- Tweak some autoresponder email follow up sequences, write some new ones
- Assist in building out campaigns in Infusionsoft
- Must have an eye for design: Choose 5 different landing page templates using Optimize Press or Lead Pages and ‘cut and paste’ copy into the landing pages
- Choose a sales letter template for the copy completed by the copywriter
- Tweak some copy on an order page, landing page, pages that my team set up
- Assist in onboarding clients and scheduling appointments
- Take a written sales letter, and, format it onto some PowerPoint slides, ready to be recorded and turned into a sales video.
- Take notes, compile action notes from my content and re-purpose them
- … and much, much more. No two days will ever be the same.
There could also be tasks completely unrelated to marketing such as picking up the phone and calling a customer and to collect an order.
For this role, you need to be wide open to what kind of tasks I throw your way. You need to embrace them with a sense of enthusiasm and excitement.
Required Skills:
- Basic wordpress skills are necessary
- You must be able to work well as a team
- Basic sales copy skills are a plus
- You need to have a strong eye for attention to detail (this is really important)
- Ability to multi-task on multiple projects at once
- Organized and detailed oriented
- Excellent written skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work with and help our team members
You need to be a hardworking, self-starter, who is coachable, dependable, determined, driven, accountable, tech savvy, and naturally obsessed with details.
Additional Requirements:

Intermediate knowledge of internet marketing, tracking, conversions, sales funnels, sales copy, upsells, etc.

Intermediate knowledge of some of the tools we use… like WordPress, Optimize Press, Infusionsoft

Intermediate knowledge of ad creation, ad placement and ad management (i.e. banners, ppc, solo ads, etc).
Optional Skills (Not required, but a plus):
- Basic HTML / coding ability
- Photoshop
- A great eye for design
Compensation and Getting Paid:
Right now work is assigned on a per project basis and as soon as part-time or full-time work is available (provided you’ve worked well with us so far) you’ll be among the first people we contact. Rates average out to $25 an hour starting out. If you’re starting out with fewer skills and learning as you go, compensation is going to be lower. The right person for this role will also deeply value the learning experience.
